Oops! I did it again! Here is another Halloween nail tutorial for your pleasure!
This design was a little more complicated than I thought it would be because I realized how important it is to have quality polishes! My neon polish was old and really need some polish thinner added to it. I probably had five chunky coats of polish on my nails when this was all said and done. However, the look was supposed to be simple.
So, here's what I did (hopefully you learn from my mistakes...).
1. Apply a base coat to the clean nail.
2. Polish your nails a neon yellow/green. (Again, this took me three coats to reach opacity).
3. Pick random areas of each nail to polish orange. Make sure your polish is opaque enough that it will cover your yellow/green base.
4. Then pick other ares of each nail to polish purple. Make sure this is also opaque enough to cover the yellow/green base.
5. If it's messy, it's okay, because you will clean it up with the black striper. Use the striper to create straight lines. Then interchange with diagonal lines and x's.
6. Use a top coat to add shine.
That's it. It certainly does seem simple enough... Just make sure that you have quality polishes that you are using. Also, I'm going to put it out there. I tried to film myself doing this. Omigosh. Disaster. I really respect those YouTubers out there. I'll definitely try again sometime, but whoa. It will be a bit.
Anyway, keep telling myself this will be it for Halloween nail art designs, but I might have one more up my sleeve! Also, if you follow on Instagram - you'll see designs there first!
