I had a few friends tag me in a really cute nail series video that contained Dracula and his wife. See the video here. I decide to create my own interpretation.
- Start with a base coat and then paint your nails a pinkish purple. I used Essie Playdate. I would say that this color is a little darker than the one in the video.
- Then begin painting Dracula and his wife. I started by painting the hair with a black nail art brush.
- For the eyes, I used a variety of dotting tools. First, red for Dracula. Then, black. Finish off with teeny dot of white. I framed his eyes with eyebrows. For Dracula's wife's eyes, I used a white dotting tool, and then black. I created lashes and eyebrows with a black nail striper.
- The noses were simple - just paint an "L' shape with the striper.
- For the final part of the design, I painted a black curved line for Dracula's mouth and two white marks for fangs. Mrs. Dracula was a little more complicated. To make the lips, I created the outline in red and then filled them in. I finished with two flags and a tiny black beauty mark.
- Finally, seal with a top coat.
Ta Da!
