An Afternoon At the Park

It's going to start to get cold here in the Midwest, so my husband and I decided to take advantage of the good weather and enjoy some time together at the park.  I thought it would be a great opportunity to practice taking pictures, especially those action shots on the swings.  I was pretty happy with how everything turned out.  Then, I had my husband take a photo of me and my daughter...  Only he could capture this image...

Ellie is mid, "Cheese!" and my hair is everywhere with the crazy wind. Still,
the picture makes me laugh.  We had so much funny playing as a family. 

If you have a DSLR camera, I recommend taking it out the park and capturing images of your little one.  It's great practice, and fun for everyone.  If you don't have kiddos, practicing on pets is also a lot of fun.
