With my affinity for jewelry and a good friend representing this company, I had to feature Stella and Dot on this blog. If you aren't familiar with Stella & Dot, it is "... a boutique-style accessories company offering flexible entrepreneurship for women". You can shop jewelry and accessories, host a trunk show, or join the team selling products as a stylist. (I'm not going to lie, I love the jewelry so much I really thought about joining. However, I am better at spending my money on jewelry, not selling it.)
In my own experiences with Stella & Dot, I had attended a couple of jewelry parties stemming back in 2011, I think. At the time, the jewelry I liked was pretty pricy (I have an obsession for statement necklaces). However, as I became more familiar with the brand, I learned the best way to earn your statement pieces is truly by hosting your own show, so that's what I did. After hosting my own party, I ended up earning all kinds of jewelry and accessories!
Even if you don't host a truck show or know a stylist, you can still order online! I'm not denying that there are pieces over $100, but there are many options for under $50! Along with that - there are always sales! I would definitely advise those on a budget to find out what the special is for the month. I'd also look for items after big holidays. The after-Christmas sale included 50% off select pieces. Besides that, when certain pieces are retired, some stylists will sell them to friends or family at a good 30-40% off!
I wanted to share with you some of the pieces I want to order (but that would pretty much be the entire website...). Anyhow, I think the pieces look best when they are actually on you. Here are some of my favorites that are featured on the website:
If you were interested in purchasing something from Stella and Dot - please feel free to order through my *Stylish* and Stylist friend Shannon at: www.stelladot.com/sites/shannongilroy!
Happy Shopping!
