Hi all,
If you're like me, you may spend quite a bit of time scouring the Internet shopping and looking for the "best" price for an item. I've also been known to just get online to shop around… you know, fill up my shopping cart full of ridiculous items and never check out. Every once in a while, a website might e-mail me reminding me that my items are still available if I would like to complete the purchase. I very rarely actually check out. I'm usually just bored. Admittedly, now that I have a little one at home, these kind of adventures don't happen often.
Anyhow - I came across a great website - Luvocracy. The best way to describe it is… like a Pinterest, but with competitive shopping. Here's how it works... share with the website the people whose taste you like. They become your "tastemakers" and then Luvocracy will make recommendations for you. You can build collections and shop other member's collections. Pretty much anything that is for sale online can be purchased on Luvocracy. Once you are ready to make your purchase, a Luvocracy shopping assistance finds the product for you at the most competitive price, places the order, and will assist you with returns, etc.
I "luv" (sorry I had to!) the idea of competitive pricing (what an awesome timesaver!) and the fact that I can browse anything I'm shopping for in one location. I haven't made any purchases, but I did open an account and have enjoyed exploring the website. You can find me here.
For more on Luvocracy, I found another blogger (more dedicated then I!) who has an excellent post all about it. Read more here.
Do you have a Luvocracy account? Or will you be signing up? What are your experiences with Luvocracy?
