No Resolutions This Year

So it's a new year... which means most people make their new years resolutions.  A lot of the time, those resolutions aren't fulfilled, and that leads to disappointment and becoming depressed.

I came across this article on my Facebook newsfeed and it really resonated with me.  (I definitely recommend reading it!)  As the article suggests, I am going to pick one word as my mantra for 2016.  And, my word is...

I want to focus on the good... Focus on what matters.  My faith.  My family.  My health.  My education.

I'm a naturally goal-oriented person, so for me - I don't need to write new goals/resolutions every year because I am constantly refining and reviewing what I want to do.  Sometimes it is great to have such high expectations for myself, but sometimes it's not so great (you have to be okay with mistakes!).

Anyways, I hope that you have a fabulous 2016 - whether you pick a word to lead you into the new year or write traditional resolutions for yourself!
